Introducing Pensil Group Chat with thread & emojis (Your own private social network where you make the rules)

Why we built Chat ⁉

As the quality of conversations within communities lit up via comment sections and some community members have taken matters into their own hands, hacking together integrations with Discord, Slack, and Telegram to cultivate communities of supporters.

With real-time group chats, you can create more connection in your Pensil community:

  • Ideal for coaching groups, mentor groups, friends, specialized groups
  • Easily facilitate 1-on-1 introductions between members
  • Let your members self-organize outside of spaces
  • Perfect for quick interactions

For the last few months, our product teams have been working closely with our users to address this problem. The result is a simple-to-use space where community members can have more frequent conversations with the people who appreciate their work most.

Chat also eliminates the need for community admins to Frankenstein together different software tools and cross-reference subscriber lists. These are just the early days for Chat and all of  Pensil’s community features. There’s lots more to come!

Group chat is seamless on mobile and Pensil app (Android & iOS) Group chat is especially useful on the go. Your members can now spin up group chats on the go when in the mobile browser or Pensil app.

Keep the conversations synced between mobile and PC

You asked for it –– and now it's here: Group chats 🎉
